Joseph S. Sambuco
Founder/President
Chief Executive Officer

Joseph S. Sambuco began his real estate career at Lazard Frères & Co LLC in 1982 in their Real Estate division: Lazard Realty. Based in New York City, Mr. Sambuco focused on the accounting, reporting, and due diligence for over $2.0 billion in commercial real estate assets in the northeast United States. Mr. Sambuco became Chief Financial Officer of Lazard’s property investment company in 1985.

During his tenure at Lazard, Mr. Sambuco’s was also actively involved in Lazard’s Financial Advisory Practice, where he was responsible for the firm’s real estate consulting and advisory business. Mr. Sambuco advised clients about the real estate components for their Mergers & Acquisitions, Restructurings, and Financings.In 1989 Mr. Sambuco became a Managing Director and the CFO of The Taylor Simpson Group when The Taylor Simpson Group purchased the assets of Lazard’s property investment company. Mr. Sambuco held these responsibilities until 1999 when he formed a joint venture with Prudential Real Estate Investors (“PREI”) to form Colonnade Properties as an operational real estate investment and management platform.

Since founding Colonnade, Mr. Sambuco has invested approximately $580 million of capital for institutional and high net worth investors, and returned them an average IRR of over 30%. During his career, Mr. Sambuco has been involved with the development of over $1.0 billion of commercial real estate projects, the acquisition of in excess of $5.0 billion of commercial real estate, and the operation of more than 15.0 million square feet of commercial real estate. Mr. Sambuco is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP). Mr. Sambuco has a B.S. in accounting from Rutgers University (1982)

Christopher B. Glinski
Executive Vice President

Christopher B. Glinski’s real estate career spans more than 20-years, during which time he is been an integral part of acquiring, managing and selling over $4 billion of commercial real estate.

Mr. Glinski began his career as a real estate analyst in the acquisition group of The Taylor Simpson Group Inc., where he was actively involved in underwriting and acquiring prospective investment opportunities, coordinating and implementing property due diligence, and monitoring the financial performance of owned assets.

In 2000, Mr. Glinski left The Taylor Simpson Group Inc. to become one of the founding partners of Colonnade Properties LLC where he later became Head of RealEstate Acquisitions and successfully acquired and/or financed approximately $2.0 billion of assets. Mr. Glinski is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies, sourcing and screening acquisition opportunities, providing ongoing oversight and strategy execution of owned assets as well as negotiating property acquisitions, loan documents and joint-venture partnership agreements.

Mr. Glinski has an M.B.A from New York University (1999) and a B.S. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (1992).

Roger T Mullarkey
Senior Vice President

Mr. Mullarkey started his real estate career in New York at Lazard Frères & Co. He has more than 35 years of experience acquiring, developing/re-developing, managing, leasing and selling tens of millions of sq. ft. of residential, commercial, and hotel properties. Mr. Mullarkey has been responsible for coordinating all phases of operations, leasing and marketing for multiple properties including Peachtree Center, The Omni Colonnade Hotel, Heritage Deerwood Condominiums, 1251 Avenue of the Americas (the former Exxon Building and 1997 BOMA-NY building of the year), and 461 Fifth Avenue (the 1996 BOMA-NY building of the year). In 1997 Mr. Mullarkey joined The Taylor Simpson Group Inc. where his was actively involved in acquisitions and portfolio management. In 2000, Mr. Mullarkey left The Taylor Simpson Group Inc. to become one of the founding partners of Colonnade Properties LLC where he later became the Head of Real Estate Leasing and Marketing. Mr. Mullarkey is responsible for developing, implementing, and standardizing proprietary systems and procedures across Colonnade’s portfolio, and for managing and developing the budget process, asset specific capital expenditures, leasing parameters, marketing programs and corporate directives.

Mr. Mullarkey is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in New York. Mr. Mullarkey has an M.B.A from Fordham University and a B.A. from The Colorado College.

Cindy Hu
Senior Vice President
Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Hu brings over 25 years of experience to Colonnade Properties LLC. Joined the firm in 1996, Ms. Hu leads and directs the team for all financial aspects of the business including accounting practices, budgeting, financial planning and monitoring of financial performance. In addition to her accounting and financial oversight responsibilities, she offers strategic advice to senior management.Ms. Hu has a B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from Queens College, CUNY.
